At Little Earth we are proud of the holistic learning philosophy we have crafted, as we aim to tap into the greatness of every child that attends our school. Our curriculum is based on seven learning areas that give our children (ranging in age from 3 months to 5 years old) the opportunity to discover and reach their full potential. We are inspired by – but not limited to – the methods of Maria Montessori, Reggio Emilia and the teachings of the Waldorf Education system.
It is our belief that what children need to learn during their early childhood years cannot be taught but rather discovered through play. We also believe that not all classrooms need to have four walls, which is why – in addition to our 13 indoor classrooms – we are proud to offer two unique outdoor classrooms, namely: The Eco Barn and The Kitchen Garden. Designed as engaging, interactive spaces that support our curriculum, wonderful discoveries happen here, on a daily basis.
Our EcoBarn is a dynamic learning environment where children explore the wonders of nature and technology. Our teachers conduct exciting science lessons, allowing our little ones to discover fascinating facts about the natural world. This hands-on approach helps instil a love for science and an appreciation and respect for the environment from an early age.
The Kitchen Garden is a serene, calming space nestled within our beautiful playground. Here, children can enjoy lessons or listen to stories surrounded by nature. The Kitchen Garden classroom provides an ideal space for experiential learning, fostering a connection with the environment while encouraging curiosity and creativity.
